Wilma "Jean" Mahaffey

Biography:  Wilma “Jean” Mahaffey, 73 of Bucyrus passed away on Dec. 14, 2013 in Mansfield Med Central.  Wilma was born March 14, 1940 in Wapakoneta, OH to the late George William and Ina Mae (Webb) Howell. She was married Oct. 24, 1959 to Robert “Bob” Mahaffey who preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 2000. 
 
Wilma is survived by children Bobbi (Dan) Howard Jr. of Crestline; Krys (Donnie) Erwin, Bucyrus; Erik Mahaffey of Bucyrus; grandchildren Shadd (Ashley) Spencer, Makenna Howard, Jennifer (Bryson) Moorehead, and Noah Erwin; great grandchildren Brynn Spencer, Trytan Spencer, and Braylee Moorehead; brothers Michael Howell and George W. Howell Jr; and sisters Elizabeth Ann (John) Davis and Mary Janet (Bill) McGowan all of St. Mary’s Ohio.
 
Wilma moved to this area in 1980 and worked in Home Health Care for 20 years.  She graduated from Memorial High School in St. Mary’s and was a member of New Day Ministries in Bucyrus.
 
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm where services will be held at 7:00 pm with Rev. Ted Thomas officiating.  Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in Resthaven Memory Gardens, St. Mary’s OH.  The family suggests memorials be made to the Diabetes Foundation and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
