Biography: Wilma J. Waller, 77, of Bucyrus went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, her death was unexpected. Wilma was born June 23, 1936 in Wakefield, OH to the late Fred and Ida (Adkins) Ferguson. She was married to Ray Waller on May 29, 1954, he survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandchildren Thomas Monk and Kara Snyder, as well as sisters Eliza Jonas , Amanda Day; and one brother James Luther Ferguson.
Wilma is also survived by children Linda Irvin, Bucyrus; Brenda Shepherd, Bucyrus; Kathy (Brian) Nye, Bucyrus, and Bobby (Jennifer) Waller, Bucyrus; grandchildren, Chrissy Hoover, Susann Monk, Veronica, Christopher, Billy, Samuel, and Chrystal; Jesse Delaney, Rodney Delaney; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Wilma and her husband moved to Bucyrus in 1964. For nearly 30 years Wilma worked as Clerk-Secretary at the Bucyrus Church of God where she was very active and dedicated. She was an artist and also enjoyed crafts. She especially loved to paint and cross stitch.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Ferguson (Wilma’s nephew), and Rev. Ernest Surgener officiating, burial will be in Brokensword Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-9 pm.
