Biography: William J. Shepherd, 77 of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday evening June 29, 2017. Bill was born June 24, 1940 in Salyersville, KY to the late Daniel and Ella (Hale) Shepherd. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son William J. Shepherd Jr. and brothers Ashland, Norman, James, Romain, and Lacey.
Bill is survived by wife Brenda (Waller) Shepherd; children Sylvia, Rosie, Jessie, Samuel, William D., Crystal, and step child Veronica and her husband Anthony; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister Shirley Conley.
Bill last worked at Mansfield Brass and Aluminum, enjoyed collecting sports cards and NASCAR collectibles. He was a member of the Bucyrus Church of God.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service.
