Virginia Turney

Biography:  Virginia Turney, 90, formerly of Chatfield and most recently living near her daughter in Vermillion, passed away on Wednesday Nov. 1, 2017.  She had been a resident of Kingston Residence in Vermillion.  Virginia was born July 23, 1927 in Crawford County to the late Edwin and Alma (Zimmerman) Geiger.  She was married Oct. 7, 1956 to Milford Gene Turney who preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 2014. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother Robert E. Geiger; nephew Bobby Geiger and niece Deborah Rust.
Virginia is survived by daughters Kathy (Mark) Ulicki of Vermillion and Christy (Robert) Watkins of North Olmstead, OH.
Virginia was an artist and homemaker.  Her interest included horses, dogs, the church, and her family.
Private Graveside Services will be held in the Nazareth Lutheran Church Cemetery with Pastor David Layton officiating.
