Virginia Ruth Lawhun Lewis

Biography:  Virginia Ruth Lawhun Lewis, 92, of Bucyrus passed away Sunday morning, January 12, 2014 in Heartland of Bucyrus.  She was born May 12, 1921 in Garrison, Kentucky to the late Stanley and Mettie (Bloomfield) Lawhun.  On October 16, 1937 she married William G. Lewis who preceded her in death on March 19, 1985.
 
Virginia is survived by her children, Mrs. Robert (Faye) Cox, Brenda Agin, David (Ruth) Lewis, Pamela (Leroy Lawhun) Lewis, all of Bucyrus.  Also surviving are her 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren.
Virginia is preceded in death by her daughter, four sons, two sisters, seven brothers, and four grandchildren.
Virginia moved to Bucyrus in 1948.  She worked at Swan Hose, General Electric, and the Cobey Company. 
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm , burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left a munzpirnstill.com.
