Virginia Mae Clark

Biography:  Virginia Mae Clark, 78, formerly of Bucyrus, passed away on Saturday morning in the Portsmouth area where she had been residing with her daughter for the past 6 years.  Virginia was born in Bucyrus on Feb. 12, 1936 to the late James and Idella (Spears) Smith.  She was married June 10, 1952 to Donald R. Clark who preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 2000.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters.
 
Virginia is survived by daughters Donna Brown and Roberta Gardner both of Portsmouth; grandchildren Crystal (Chad) Wade; Shiela (Jimmy) Surgener; Michael (Wendy) Brown; Jeanne Brown; and Dawn Brown; 13 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
 
Virginia was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Bucyrus.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of service.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
