Vickie L. Lord

Vickie L. Lord, 76, of Bucyrus passed away Friday December 2, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus. Vickie was born to the late Mahlon and Evelyn (Growcock) Lord September 4, 1946 in Plymouth, Michigan . Vickie is preceded in death by parents and sister Linda Lord and brother-in-law David Evans.

Vickie is survived by sisters Traci Lord, Terillee Evans, and Kelli (Bob) Battelline all of Bucyrus; special friends, Jim and Cathy Cooperider and Dave and Cindy Smarsh; nieces, Shay (Chris) Schnabel and Tori (Marc) Robinson; nephews, Joe Battelline, Allen (Darcy) Sanders, their son Titus and Toby (Brittany) VonStein their daughter Maci. Vickie didn't have any children but had special kids Michael, Mitch, and Adam.

Vickie moved to Ohio in 1963 and graduated from Bucyrus High School class of 1964. She attended The Ohio State University. Vickie worked at her parents restaurant as a cook and the Orioles Club. She went on to work for Timken for 34 years before retiring. Vickie loved all animals, she helped raise horses, and especially loved caring for her dogs. Vickie was an avid reader and enjoyed watching football.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday December 11 at the Bucyrus Amvets from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Family asks memorials be made to the Crawford County Humane Society. Expressions of Sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
