Thurman "Frank" Parker

Thurman “Frank” Parker, 70 of Zanesville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 28, 2024 at the Hospice Care Center in Zanesville. Frank was born April 8, 1954 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Thurman O. and Betty (Adkins) Parker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Daniel Leroy Parker and Bobbie Joe Parker.

Frank is survived by children Kevin Parker of Anna, OH, Mitch (Pascha) Parker of Bucyrus, Terry (Jean) Parker of McCartyville, OH, Gary (Tracey) Parker of Portsmouth, and Shane Parker of Greenup KY; grandchildren Noah, Riley, Terry Lee, Bobby, JJ, Mary Ann, Colin, Kyle, Cody, Devin, Kyle, Josh, and Aliyah; great grandchildren Casen, Scarlet, Zane, and James; brothers James and Gary Parker; sisters Karen Loschiavo, Bonnie Thomas, Linda Thomas, and Debbie Church; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Frank graduated from Minford High School in 1972. He lived in Portsmouth, OH and Bradenton Fl. for several years before moving back to Zanesville 8 years ago to live with his sister Linda. He was self employed and did carpentry, roofing, and was an all-around handyman. Frank was a devout Christian who enjoyed reading the bible, _spending time with his family and loafing around.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday September 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
