Theresa Marie (Powell) Smith

Biography:  Theresa Marie (Powell) Smith, 48 of Bucyrus passed away on Monday Oct. 3, 2016 at Heartland of Bucyrus following a brief illness.  Theresa was born Nov. 28, 1967 to the late Michael Powell and Kathryn Powell of Bucyrus.  In addition to her father she was preceded in death by brother Chris and brother in law Michael LaFrance.
 
Theresa is also survived by husband Robert Smith; son Zach Reedy, Upper Sandusky; daughter Katie Brillhart of Bucyrus; grandchildren Brandon, Payton, Aubrey, Addilyn, and Kylie; brothers Matthew and Steve Powell, sisters Jennifer LaFrance, Denise (Keith) Turner, and Valerie Eichhorn all of Bucyrus and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews along with many good friends.
Theresa was an aid at Heartland for a few years and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  She loved to watch wrestling with her sister, playing with her best buddy, her dog Pugley, watching the Cleveland Browns, Buckeyes, Packers, and soap operas.  Most of all Theresa enjoyed playing with her grandkids.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.  Contributions can be made through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
