Tammy Sue Baker Heacock

Biography: Tammy Sue Baker Heacock, 64 of Marion passed away on Saturday May 21, 2022 at home.  Tammy was born March 16, 1958 in Bucyrus to the late Lloyd Blackford and Barbara (Young) Blackford of Bucyrus.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by brother Al Baker, grandson Shayne Myers, grandparents Ralph and Marie Young and Ralph and Miriam Blackford. 

Tammy is also survived by husband Robert Heacock; daughter Crystal Hill (Jason Webb); grandchildren Kaystin and Crue; siblings Tammy (Tom) Baker of Powell, OH and Tim (Bobbie) Blackford of Kenton, OH; sister-in-law Linda Baker of Bucyrus; mother-in-law Marilyn Heacock; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Tammy graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1976 and lived in the Bucyrus area most of her life.  She was an animal lover and her dogs were very special to her.  Tammy also was an avid Ohio State Football Fan.  The love of her life were her grandchildren Kaystin and Crue. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Greenler officiating and the burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Crawford County Humane Society or to the donor's choice.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
