Biography: Tami Marie Burkett, 47, of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday at University of Cincinnati Hospital, she had been seriously ill for the past month. Tami was born April 14, 1967 in Bucyrus to the late Charles Burkett and Gloria (McDougal) Burkett who survives. Tami is also survived by her close companion Harold Hardymon of Bucyrus; son Seth Zornes of Galion; daughter Sarah Israel of Bucyrus; brothers Ray, Mike, and James; and sisters Sue Freeman, Lisa Burks, Carol Noggle, and Sandy Gallant.
Tami was a lifelong Bucyrus resident and graduate of Bucyrus High School. She last worked at BAJA Boats and was a homemaker. She enjoyed going on walks around the reservoir and fishing.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday evening at 7:30 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3-5 pm. Memorial contributions can be made through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
