Sylvia M. Wood

Biography:  Sylvia M. Wood, 60 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday Dec. 3, 2013 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus following a brief illness.  Sylvia was born Dec. 12, 1952 in Bucyrus to the late Donald W. Cole Sr. and Pansy (Ball) Cole.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Phyllis Jean Prosperi and Madonna Ruckman; 2 infant siblings; and niece Theressa Ruckman.
 
Sylvia is survived by her longtime Sweetie Matt Deitler of Bucyrus; brothers Donald Cole Jr. and wife Pam and Cecil (Ruth) Cole both of Upper Sandusky; sister Linda (Walter) Jones of Wharton, W. Virginia; 8 nieces and nephews as well as 12 great nieces and nephews.
Sylvia was a homemaker, she lived her entire life in Bucyrus and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1971.  She loved her cats and taking long car rides with Matt.  Sylvia also shared the gift of life and healing through tissue donation.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and the family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 pm.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
