Susan Rae Hunter Pfahler

Biography:  Susan Rae Hunter Pfahler, 69, of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday Sept. 27, 2014 following a brief illness.  Susan was born Oct. 7, 1944 in Columbus, OH to the late Russell Dean and Bertha C. (Foos) Hunter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Natalie Hauptman and brother in law Michael Warthman.
 
Susan is survived by daughters Charity L. Pfahler and Sherry D. (Shannon) Thompson both of Bucyrus; 6 grandchildren, William, Joshua, Brittany, Mikaela, Ashley, and Joshua; brothers Russell Dean (Hazel) Hunter; David (Cheryl) Hunter; Daniel (Susie) Hunter; sisters Toni Schull; Cathy (Ron) Suter; and Mary Warthman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Susan graduated from Shelby H.S. in 1963 and moved to Bucyrus in 1967 where she made her home.
 
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Oct. 4, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Claude Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.  The family suggests memorials be given to the donor’s choice and expressions of sympathy can be made at munzpirnstill.com
