Biography: Steven H. Woodall, 58, of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday morning April 28, 2015 at Grant Hospital in Columbus. His death was unexpected due to a fall on Monday evening in Marion. Steve was born July 8, 1956 in Bucyrus to Luther and Barbara (Black) Woodall who survive in Bucyrus. He is also survived by daughter Gina Woodall of Mansfield; sisters Pam (Randy) Ballard, Bucyrus; Debra (Gary) Broach, Mansfield; and Kim (John) Stoneham, Crestline; as well as 6 nieces and nephews.
Steve lived his entire life in Bucyrus and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1975. He served in the National Guard and attended Freewill Baptist Church. Steven was a lifelong blood donor for the Am. Red Cross giving more than 15 gallons. In addition, Steve continued giving by being an organ and tissue donor.
Steven loved life, God, his Country, and most of all, his cherished daughter Gina. He lived his life being happy and trying to make people around him happy. Steve was always curious and friendly with everyone he met, very much like his father. Steven’s warm and generous manner was learned from his dear mother. When he would meet someone they would not be a stranger for long.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday May 3, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Dalrymple officiating, private burial services will be held on Monday at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
