Biography: Steven F. Hamm, 65 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at O.S.U. Hospital in Columbus following a short illness. Steve was born June 13, 1952 in Tiffin OH to the late James Hamm and Eileen (Bertram) Kisor. He was married August 5, 1978 to Marsha (Hinamon) Hamm who survives.
Steve is also survived by step children Traci (Michael) Mignery of Columbus and Travis (Monica) Lutz of Uniontown, OH; their children Mackenzie, Casey, Tyler, Justin, and Sydney; brother Robert (Sharon) Hamm of Columbus; sisters Susan (Robert) Maloy of Westerville, OH and Cathren Watts of Dublin, OH; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Steve last worked at General Electric where he retired from 9 months ago. Prior to G.E. he worked for 30 years at Swan Rubber. He was a 1970 graduate of Bucyrus High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Army following graduation. Steve was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bucyrus Moose Lodge, and lifetime member of the AMVETS Post #27. He enjoyed golfing, time on Lake Erie, playing cards, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 12 noon in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Greenler officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
