Sherley Mattison Furner "Matt"

Biography: Sherley Mattison Furner “Matt”, age 89, passed away July 18, 2016. Matt was born to the late Harold and Vesta (Runion) Furner. Matt was married to Margaret (Putnam) Furner whom survives. Matt is preceded in death by step-son Ken Putnam as well as several brothers and sisters.
Matt is survived by wife Margaret Furner; children, Karol Krebs, William Furner, Linda Furner, Brenda Suttles; step-son, David Michael (Petra) Putnam, as well as a brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
Matt served in WWII in the army and was deployed in Germany during his service. He retired from Grasan of Mansfield OH. He loved to travel and play golf in his free time.
Graveside services are Wednesday 2 PM at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Alzheimers Association or Washington Township Fire Dept. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.MunzPirnstill.com
