Sharon R. Doddroe

December 31, 1969 — June 10, 2015

Biography: Sharon Doddroe of Bucyrus passed away on Monday at her home following a brief illness.  Sharon was born April 10, 1943 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Oral C. and Marguerite L. (Conner) Ferrell.  She was married June 3, 1961 to Stephen Doddroe who survives. 

Sharon is also survived by daughters Julie Tuttle of Bucyrus and Amy (Jim) Sadoski of Erie, MI; grandchildren Jacek, Brad (Shana), Sara, Daniel (Michelle), and Austin; great grandchildren Izabella, Taylor Jo, Benson, Jaxon; and brother Austin R. Ferrell of Kansas City, MO.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Charlotte Lockwood.

Sharon graduated in 1961 from Washington Irving H.S. , Clarksburg, WV.  She worked in Bucyrus with the Drivers Intervention Program, Community Counseling, and retired after 13 years as Supervisor with the Child Support Enforcement Agency of Crawford County.  Sharon was a member and past president of the ADAMH Board as well as past president of Cr. Co. Habitat for Humanity.  She enjoyed reading and traveling but most of all loved her grandchildren and family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 5:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Corwin officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of service.  Memorials may be made to the Cr. Co. Humane Society and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
