Sarah (Sally) L. Parker

Sarah (Sally) Louise Parker, 88 of Bucyrus passed away on Friday December 22, 2023 at home.  Sarah was born June 23, 1935 in Sidney, OH to the late Harry L. Quaintance and Lillie (Burton) Quaintance Tippin. 

She was married March 26, 1954 to Eldon L. Parker who survives.  Sarah is also survived by children Richard Parker (Delores) of Chatfield, Debra Markley (Marty) of Bucyrus, Jeffrey Parker (Amy) of Bloomville, and daughter-in-law Sheila Parker of Galion; 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, sister Joyce Lawrence of Sulphur Springs; step brother Donald Tippin of Michigan, and step sister Theresa Nolen of Bucyrus.  Sarah was preceded in death by son David Parker and brothers Gilbert and James Quaintance.

Sarah graduated from North Robinson High School in 1953.  She retired from General Electric in 1994 after working 33 years.  Sarah was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and had taught Sunday School.  She enjoyed family get togethers, board games, playing cards, doing puzzles, bowling, and watching baseball.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday December 27, 2023 from 11:00am-1:00pm. Services to follow at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor David Patrick officiating and burial to follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.  Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church.
