Ruth Dintaman Schell Kibler, 89 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday November 20, 2022 at Westbrook Assisted Living in Upper Sandusky where she had been a resident since May 2021.  Ruth was born April 14, 1933 in Attica OH to the late John M. and Nina M (Hoyles) Dintaman.  She was married January 18, 1991 to Paul Kibler who preceded her in death on January 27, 2012.  Ruth was also preceded in death by half brother Delbert "Barney" Barnhart and half sister Iola "Snook" Mollenkopf.

Ruth is survived by son G. Marc (Michelle) Schell  and daughter C. Dawn (Doug) Schnabel both of Bucyrus; grandchildren Joel and Graham Schell, Mackenzie (Matthew) McComb, Chelsea (Brandon) Green, and Cody (Sheena) Schnabel; great grandchildren Jacob and Ella Green, Makaila and Caleb Schnabel, and Ayla, Lena, and Maddie McComb; step grandchildren Jade Schnabel and Chris (Alyssa) Kibler; step great grandchildren Rickie Schnabel, Laura, Lexxi, and Landon Kibler.

Ruth attended Bucyrus Schools and graduated from Jackson Center High School in 1951.  She was a member of the Bucyrus Methodist Church where she helped with baking cookies, luncheons, and the Bratwurst Festival.  Ruth also volunteered at the Bucyrus Community Hospital Gift Shop, for Meals on Wheels, and crocheted for family and friends.

Ruth enjoyed watching her grandchildren's ball games, especially Chelsea cheering, the softball and volleyball games, as well as Chris and Cody's ballgames.  Ruth was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved the O.S.U. basketball and football teams.  She was a life member of the AMVETS and VFW Post 1079 Ladies Auxiliary's as well as the Bucyrus Moose Lodge.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.  The family would especially like to thank the staff of Westbrook Assisted Living and Kindred Hospice for their wonderful care during Ruth's illness.
