Ruth Ann Kalb

Ruth Ann Kalb, age 80, passed away at Willows of Willard, December 12, 2023. Ruth was born to the late Howard Newton Albright and Margaret Delores (Windbigler) Nicasto in Bucyrus Ohio August 23, 1943. Ruth first married Charles Edward Kintz, and later went on to marry her second husband July 13, 1991 James Kalb. James passed Sept 16, 2005. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, stepchild, Marlene Louise Kalb; brother, James Albright; sister, Carol Blankenship.

Ruth is survived by son, John (Sherry) Kintz; stepchildren, Gregory (Bev) Kalb and Michael (Nancy) Kalb; grandchildren, Joshua (Erin), Miranda (Dave), Doug (Sarah), Joe, Becki (Dusty), Kaitlin (Aaron), Nicholas (Alyssa), Danny (Ashley), Sarah (Bobby) and 17 great-grandchildren with baby Lucas on the way in January 2024, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth retired from Bucyrus High School cafeteria after 26 years in 2001. She was a graduate of Bucyrus High class of 1963. Ruth was a member of the Evangelical Pietist Church where she was very involved in women's groups and the church choir. Family was very important to Ruth whether it be holidays or church functions, she always made sure her family was invited or involved. She had also worked for 10 years in janitorial services for the Nazareth Lutheran Church. She will be deeply missed.

There will be a graveside at Nazareth Lutheran Cemetery, at 11AM, Monday, December 18th. Family will receive friends from 11:30AM-12:00PM at the Pietist Church where a memorial service will be held at 12PM.

The family invites all guests to join them for a luncheon and fellowship immediately following the memorial service. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or directly to the Pietist Church. Moment of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
