Ruth E. Ruth

Biography: Ruth E. Ruth, 84 of Bucyrus passed away Tuesday August 14, 2018 at Altercare of Bucyrus. Ruth was born August 28, 1933 in Marion to the late Clarence and Matilda (Harvey) Pratt. She was married March 22, 1952 to Walter J. Ruth who preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 2017. She was also preceded in death by son Keith, grandson Dave, great grandchildren Spencer, Arianna, Aryan, and Joey, as well as brothers Virgil, Victor, Lovell, Sterling, Robert and Otto Pratt and sister Mary Lou Pratt.
 
Ruth is survived by children Dave (Nora) Ruth of Galion; Paula Ruth; Sharon Ruth; John Ruth, all of Bucyrus; Steve (Sharon) Ruth of Lockport NY; and Mark Ruth of Bucyrus; grandchildren Dorinda, Melissa Dehart, Nicole Gearhart, Jason Olmstead, Jason Cress, Corey, Trevor, and Taylor Dye; 19 great grandchildren; and sister in law Betty Pratt of Marion.
 
Ruth attended Marion local schools and lived most of her life in Bucyrus. She was Seventh Day Adventist and was a very independent person. She loved watching game shows and cartoons on T.V. but most of all enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and cats.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Campbell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service and memorials may be made through the funeral home.
