Ruth A. Latta Pfahler

Biography:  Ruth A. Latta Pfahler, 65, of rural Bucyrus passed into God’s care at 1:10 am Monday May 11, 2015.  She was at home where she had been seriously ill for the past 3 weeks.  Ruth was born Nov. 5, 1949 in Findlay to the late Donald and Esther (Haws) Latta.  She was married June 5, 1997 to Donald E. Pfahler who survives.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Natalie Hauptman; brother Jeff; and sister Linda Walters.
 
Ruth is also survived by children, Donald (Karli) Stacy, Marion; April (Mike) Rasey, Marion; step children Charity Pfahler, Bucyrus and Sherry (Shannon) Thompson both of Bucyrus; grandchildren Tristan, Brittni, and Sandra Stacy; Aaron Rasey; Makaylah, Logan, and Arabellah Crawford; William and Josh Hauptman; Brittany, Makaela, Ashley, and Joshua Thompson; great grandchild Zoey Landon; and brother Douglas Latta of Marion.
 
Ruth worked in Health Care for the past 40 years.  She had worked for Marion General Hospital Home Health, Marion Manor, and Fairview Manor in Bucyrus.  Ruth moved to Bucyrus in 1994 from Marion.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.  Memorials may be given to the Mansfield Med Central Hospice and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
