Biography: Rosemary Rives, 62 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday Dec. 27, 2014 at home. Rosemary was born Dec. 6, 1952 to the late Junior and Doris (Grauer) Sheaffer. She is survived by one daughter Christin Rives of Galion.
Rosemary was confirmed at Good Hope Lutheran Church, where she later sang in the choir, and graduated from Wynford High School in 1970. Following graduation Rosemary moved to Columbus and taught 1st and 2nd grade at the Christ the King Church. She moved back to the City of Bucyrus in 1990 and directed the Junior Choir at Good Hope for a short time. Rosemary was an extra special mother to Christin and was very loving, she enjoyed long weekends and holidays with her daughter, playing games, cards, watching movies and eating at Red Lobster. Rosemary was artistic and enjoyed crafts. For many years she did chalk drawings in her driveway which many people attending the Bratwurst Festival enjoyed.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. David Bliss officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the Good Hope Lutheran Church Choir Fund and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
