Rose Sharon Fishpaw

Biography:  Rose Sharon Fishpaw, 76, of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday July 5, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at Altercare of Bucyrus following a brief illness.  Sharon was born to the late Agnes Gavan on June 21, 1938 in Ironton, OH.  She was married Nov. 29, 1958 to Donald Dean Fishpaw who preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 2003.
Sharon is survived by children Scott (Carol) Fishpaw of Bucyrus; Deann (Kurt) Newman of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI; Beth (Nick) Phillips of Galion; and Mark Fishpaw of Bucyrus; 10 grandchildren, Don (Erin), Christopher, Heather, Abby, David, Stasia, Cole, Claire, Gabriel, and Kevin; 2 great grandchildren Jeremiah and Evan.
 
Sharon graduated from Ironton High School in 1956 and attended North Central State College.  She moved to Bucyrus in 1963.  Sharon started Fishpaw Tax Service with her husband.  For the past 45 years, Sharon has worked as an accountant and Enrolled Agent at her office.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she had been the RCIA Director for 25 years.  Sharon enjoyed spending time at her home on Catawba Island which she and her husband built together.  She also attended the Church of the Immaculate Conception when she spent weekends on Catawba.  Sharon was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling with her alumni class from Ironton, her involvement with the Holy Trinity Ladies Red Hat Group, and spending time with her grandchildren.
 
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 am in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father John Miller as Celebrant, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.  Prayer Services will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:45 pm.  The family suggests memorials be made to Holy Trinity Parish or the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Port Clinton.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
