RosaLee Hay, 92 of Bucyrus and most recently of Mansfield passed away on Thursday March 16, 2023 in Mansfield. RosaLee was born January 18, 1931 in Cozad Nebraska to the late John B. and Emma May (Cloud) King. She was married August 14, 1993 to Chester "Jack" Hay who preceded her in death on March 9, 2001. She was also preceded in death by daughter Linda VanCamp, grandson Kevin and brothers Wilbur and Jim King.
RosaLee is survived by daughters Debra (John) Heiser of Mansfield and Susan (Mark) Halm of Columbus; grandchildren Megan (Kyle) Nagle, Jaime Halm, Danelle (Timothy) Joyce, Janiene Heiser, and Christopher and Heather VanCamp; great grandchildren Sloan and Shelby Nagle, Julian, Aurelia, Adaleigh, Kellan, Aela, and Aelie Joyce, and Taylor Breedlove; sister Sharon (Jim) Tice of Washington State; as well as nieces and nephews.
RosaLee graduated from Fife H.S. in 1949 where she was active as a majorette, the Carnival Queen, and Drill Team. She worked at North Electric for nearly 20 years. RosaLee was a member of First Alliance Church where she was very active and involved in the Women of the Church. She was formerly a member of the Red Hatters and enjoyed bird watching and oil painting.
A Private Graveside Service will be held in Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Rick Maddox officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to Gentiva Hospice through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
