Roger A. Taylor

Biography:  Roger A. Taylor, 61 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday March 21, 2017 at his home.  Roger was born October 22, 1955 in Bucyrus to the late Harold Douglas Taylor and Betty Louise (Hart) Taylor who survives in Bucyrus. Roger was married Oct. 1, 1975 to Penny (Davidson) Taylor who survives.  Roger is also survived by daughters Stephanie Kegley, Bucyrus; Angela (Matt) Garrabrant, Tiffin; Chelsey (Jeff) Garrabrant, Cardington; grandchildren Levi, Hunter, Erica, Luke, Lane, Nathan, Fern, Bristoll, Brielle, Nora, Madison, and Taylor; 1 great grandson Jeramiah; brothers Dennis of Tippecanoe, OH; Randall of Hopedale, OH; and Marvin (Melanie) of North Robinson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
 

Roger lived his entire life in the area and graduated from Colonel Crawford H.S. in 1974.  He worked in farming, as a truck driver, and most recently as a welder at Union Tank in Marion.  Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, working in his shed, and shooting groundhogs.  Most of all Roger enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Garrabrant officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.  Memorials may be made through the funeral home or to Heartland Hospice.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
