Rodney G. Echelberry

Biography: Rodney G. Echelberry, 66 of Marion passed away on Thursday June 18, 2020 at Marion Point.  Rodney was born November 23, 1953 in Killeen, TX to Robert F. (Ilona) Echelberry Jr of Bucyrus and Joyce (Rettig) Leeth of Marion.  He is also survived by sons Matt Echelberry of Galion and Kelly Echelberry of Norwalk; daughter Jennifer (Tom) Atwood of Bucyrus; grandchildren Nicholas "Nick", Mariah, Landon, and Aiden; sisters Vicki (William) Adkins of Marion and Angie Echelberry of Columbus; brother Lyle Echelberry of Bucyrus; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Rodney graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1972 and attended North Central Technical College.  He had worked at MTD in Willard and Timken in Bucyrus.  Rodney also had a Stanley Steamer Franchise in Bucyrus during the 1970' and early 1980's.  He was a member of Richland Rd. Church of Christ and enjoyed working on Mustangs and yard work.  Rodney was a kid at heart and he enjoyed the Holidays. The family would like to thank Marion Pointe Nursing for the care they provided to Rodney.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service .  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association through the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill@hotmail.com
