Biography: Robin Lee Walterhus, 63 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday April 2, 2019 at home. Robin was born March 8, 1956 in Marion, OH to the late Jack L. and Marilyn J. (Phelps) Walterhus. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by infant brother Jack.
Robin is survived by wife Linda; two daughters Mary Walterhus of St. Augustine, FL and Jenny (Bobby Monaco) Walterhus of Bucyrus; grandchildren Braxton and Justice Monaco of Bucyrus; sisters Julie (Pastor Michael) Corwin, Marion and Shelly (Dr. Stephen) Frank of Ashland, OH; nephew Aaron (Jill) Corwin and their children Sydnee and Connor of Marion, OH; niece Stacy (Joseph) Ricker and their children Makenzie and Marion and Marcus and Mason of Bucyrus; cousin Lanny Phelps as well as many other cousins.
Robin was raised and grew up in Crestline. He moved to Germantown TN in Senior year of High School and graduated in 1974. He worked several jobs and acquired many skills throughout his life. Most of all Robin had a passion for working outside and particularly on golf courses in Ohio, Florida, and Tennessee.
Robin and his family have been incredibly blessed to have had his wife Linda provide his close comfort and care during the last several years as he battled lung cancer.
