Robin Hildebrand

Robin Lee Hildebrand “Bird Dog”, 54, passed away surrounded by family Monday June 5, 2023 at Legacy of Bucyrus. Robin was born June 25, 1968 in Bucyrus Ohio to the late Robert A. Hildebrand and Carolyn (Mauler) Hildebrand who survives.   Robin was married February 2, 2022 to Crystal (Mills) Hildebrand after being together 17 years. He is also survived by brother, Jeffrey Hildebrand of Crestline; mother-in-law, Linda Coomer of Bucyrus, sister-in-law April (Doug) Suits of Upper Sandusky; brother-in-laws, Rob Mofford and Tim Mofford, dear friends Earl Fruth and Todd Clingman, nieces and nephews, and his dog that recently passed away, Brutus.

Robin graduated from Wynford High School in 1987 and in his early years worked for Pfeifer Farms.  For the last 23 years Robin has worked at IB Tech in Bucyrus.  He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan as well as the Dallas Cowboys.  He also was a collector of John Deere model tractors and enjoyed being outdoors around the bonfires and drinking a cold beer.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Dez Smith of Back to the Cross Ministries officiating, burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday June 7 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  The family also suggest that friends attending wear their favorite sports attire.  Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
