Robert S. Harper

Biography:  Robert S. Harper, 70 of Bucyrus passed away on Friday Feb. 10, 2017 at Altercare of Bucyrus.  Robert was born Oct. 29, 1946 in Greenup, KY to the late Russell and Gladys (Burton) Harper Hughes.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Charlene (Brady) Harper; brother William Harper; and sisters Bessie Vinson, Ruth Bond, Dorothy Brown, Ida Eulett, Wilma Hamilton, Juanita Sloan, and Helen Coleman.

Robert is survived by sisters Bonnie Christian of Hamtramck, MI and Keneda Parker of Anna, OH; sister in law Cynthia Harper of Bucyrus; brother in laws Ed Vinson, Bucyrus and Joe Hamilton of Springfield, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert retired from General Electric and lived most of his life in Bucyrus.  He enjoyed going camping, being around his family and being with his pet dog “Scruff”.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Hager officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
