Biography: Robert L. Applegate, 60 of Bucyrus passed away on Friday September 21, 2018 at Heartland of Bucyrus following a lengthy illness. Robert was born June 3, 1958 in Bucyrus to the late Luther “Tim” Applegate and Evelyn (Lykins) Applegate. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Patricia Cline.
Robert is survived by daughter Jessica (Adam) Riffle of Ansonia, OH; grandchildren Cooper, Conner, and Caden; sisters Barbara Sue Miller, Sheila Darlene Lewis, and Linda (Aaron) Atkinson all of Bucyrus; one brother Charles (Christine) Applegate; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert worked in Construction as a Foreman. He lived most of his life in Columbus and Bucyrus and enjoyed shooting pool, horseshoes, and chess.
A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Home Care Matters Hospice and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
