Biography: Robert D. Goebel, age 70, passed away unexpectedly at home Tuesday April 11. Robert was born to the late Charles and Louise (Anderson) Goebel on November 26, 1946 in Bucyrus. Robert is preceded in death by parents.
Robert is survived by brother Charles Eugene Goebel and sister Phyllis J. Ross.
Robert was an avid sports fan and spent lots of time collecting coins. Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran who was deployed in Germany for a year. He was also formerly employed at Galion Iron works for a number of years
Visiting hours are 12 noon to 2 PM at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home Friday April 14. The funeral service will follow at 2 PM at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Pastor Gene Luidhardt SAM is officiating services. Memorials may be made through the funeral home or to donor’s choice. Moments of remembrance may be left online at munzpirnstill.com
