Richard Eric Russell

Richard Eric Russell, age 83, went to be with the Lord September 21, 2024. Richard was born to the late Pearl Waldo Francis and Lucille Emma (Frank) Russell in Bucyrus Ohio, July 17, 1941. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Cecil Russell; first wife, Donna Jean (Masters) Russell, second wife, Betty Sue (Wright) Russell.

Richard is survived by children, Wayne Adam Russell and Robin Renee (James) Temple; step-children, Clint Green and Kim Forsythe; siblings, John Rusell, Robert “Bob” (Nancy) Russell, and Patricia Ryland; grandchildren, Ashley, Andrea, Adam, Joseph, and Nicole; great-grandchildren, Harper, Aiden, AJ, Grace, Kayla, Corbin; as well as several nieces and nephews, and special dog, Rambo.

Richard was a graduate of Bucyrus High School. Richard was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church and a 50+ Masonic member. He was also a Moose member and part of the Shriners Club. Richard enjoyed woodworking in his spare time, had restored 4 Model T vehicles through the years, spending time with his family, and watching the OSU Buckeyes. He worked for PPG of Crestline as a maintenance man, prior to that he worked for a short stint with Shunk and Swan.

The family will be receiving friends at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home Wednesday September 25th, from 4PM-7PM with a masonic service to close out the visitation approximately at 6:45PM. The funeral services will be Thursday at 1PM, with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association or Good Hope Lutheran.
