Biography: Richard M. Fultz, 72 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday March 15, 2016 at Heartland of Bucyrus. Richard was born Jan. 31, 1944 in Bucyrus to the late Albert Fultz Sr. and Iona (McLaughlin) Fultz. He was married Dec. 2, 1988 to Jane (Huggins) Fultz who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Albert Fultz, Jr.
Richard is also survived by children Richard Jr. of Crestline; Dianna (Mike) Scoggins, Georgia; Shawn (Kendra) Fultz, Findlay; Benjamin (Kathi) Fultz of Marion; Robert Trease and Thomas Trease both of Bucyrus; grandchildren, Alexis, Kila, Koby, Kaden, Alison, Noah, and Joseph; great grandchild Bronxten; brother Joseph Fultz, Bucyrus; sisters, Bessie Perry, Anna Clark, Cora Stone, Dorothy Das, Elizabeth Rupe all of Bucyrus; Rachel Myers, Upper Sandusky; and Frances Craig, Paulding; as well as nieces and nephews.
Richard attended Chatfield H.S. and retired in 2006 from Harris Construction. Richard attended Gospel Baptist Church and enjoyed the outdoors, tractor pulls, and spending time with family and walking with his grandchildren. He and Jane enjoyed attending many fairs and especially the State Fair and the Tractor Pulls.
Private Family Services will be held on Saturday at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Angel officiating, burial will be in Whetstone Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date. The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpinstill.com
