Biography:
Richard Lee Houseburg, 79, of Bucyrus passed away on March 23, 2015 at 7:12 pm in Riverside Hospital, Columbus. His death followed a brief illness. Richard was born July 4, 1935 in Bucyrus to the late Paul Lee Houseburg and Lucille (Frost) Orweiler. He was married Dec. 5, 1964 to Kerin (Eiler) Houseburg who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Robert.
Richard is also survived by children Angela Houseburg, Galion; Jeannette Lust, Galion; Rick Houseburg, Bucyrus; Sara (Jeff) Bonen, Bucyrus; and Paul (Beth) Houseburg, Nevada; grandchildren Mykayla and David Houseburg; Kelly and Jennifer McCalister; Jessica Banks; Nicole Tucker; Kristina Ramage; and Michelle Houseburg; 9 great grandchildren; and sister Paula Bender of Cincinnati.
Richard lived his entire life in Bucyrus and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1953. He retired from the Timken Company after 32 years. Following his retirement from Timken, for several years Richard assisted his wife at craft shows throughout the country.
