Biography: Richard E. Gingery, 86, of Bucyrus died on Thursday Feb. 27, 2014 at his home. Richard was born Nov. 19, 1927 in Crawford Co. to the late Charles and Cecil (Lohr) Gingery. He was married April 10, 1948 to Ruth (Lieder) Gingery who preceded him in death on Dec. 15, 1992. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Richard is survived by children, Judy (Gregg) Brinkman, Carl Gingery, and Paul Gingery all of Bucyrus; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Richard retired in 1988 from G.E. in Bucyrus after working 44 years. He was a Bucyrus resident his entire life.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Gingery will be held on Saturday April 26th at 1:00 pm in the Oceola Pentecostal Tabernacle with Rev. Carl Angel officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
