Renae Lynn (Althauser) Jones

Renae Lynn (Althauser) Jones, 69 of Galion passed away on Monday January 13, 2025 at home. Renae was born April 6, 1955 in Minerva, Ohio to the late Lester Althauser and Shirley (Scott) Johnston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Kellee Shambaugh and brother Todd Althauser.

Renae is survived by children Deric Lauthers; daughter Emily (Chris Coppler) Lauthers; grandchildren Baileigh Lauthers, Max Shambaugh, Codyn Coppler, Mark Shambaugh, and Dylan Coppler; great grandchildren Lelan Goin and Legacy Halloway; sister Debbie; nephew Chad Burman and niece Caitie Burman; as well as one great nephew.

Renae last worked at PECO II in Galion. She graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1974 and lived most of her life in the Bucyrus and Galion areas.
