Raymond E. Riester

Biography:  Raymond E. Riester, 81, who accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior, passed away Sunday at Heartland of Bucyrus.  Ray was born Aug. 28, 1934 in Marion to the late William F. and Agnes B. (Youngblood) Riester.  Also preceding him in death were brothers Frank and Harold.

 
Ray is survived by brothers Norbert (Sandy) Riester, Bucyrus; Richard Riester of Grove City, OH; Robert Riester of TX; and Charles Riester;  former wife Sally Castle of Bucyrus; step son Carl Dalton of TN; step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ray retired in 1991 from the Marion Post Office after 30 years.  He lived most of his life in Bucyrus, was a U.S. Army Veteran, and for several years was very active in the Lucky 40 C.B. Club.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Minister Sally Castle officiating, burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
