Biography: Ramona E. Wurm, 65, of Bucyrus passed away on Nov. 12, 2013 in O.S.U. Hospital, Columbus. Ramona was born July 24, 1948 in Upper Sandusky to the late Hager J. Rhoden and Velma (Blankenship) Rhoden Roberts. She was married June 22, 1969 to Charles Wurm who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Bruce, Eugene, Bill, and Orville Rhoden.
In addition to husband Charles, Ramona is survived by children Charla Wurm-Adams, New Washington; Charles (Christal) Wurm, Bucyrus; Sonja (Kevin) Biglin, Bucyrus; Robert (Megan) Wurm, Green Bay, Wisc.; grandchildren, Princeton, Malachi, Samuel, Elias, Mya, and Isla; brother Glenn (Carrol) Rhoden of Virginia; and sister Katherine (Earnest) Hunsicker of Morral.
Ramona formerly taught the 4th grade at Holy Trinity School, taught Head Start, and for several years was a real estate agent and sold Avon. She attended Otterbein College and the O.S.U where she majored in Education. Ramona was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society. She loved her family and friends and doing things for others as well as among other things singing (Bluegrass) and baking apple pies. She loved recording music 78 speed records in the back of the grocery store in Little Sandusky Ohio with her Dad on the banjo, her brother on the guitar and all other members of her family singing as well. She was currently an Advocare Advisor and had hopes of establishing a Guardian Angel Help Line.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father John Miller as Celebrant; burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home at 7:45 pm Friday. Memorials may be given to either the James Cancer Center or Relay for Life through the Funeral Home and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
