Paul F. Schimpf

Biography:  Paul F. Schimpf, 95, of Bloomville passed away on Sunday Nov. 15, 2015 at Orchard Park Assisted Living.  Paul was born January 18, 1920 in Lykens, OH to the late Fred W. and Loretta (Shafer) Schimpf.  He was married Oct. 25, 1941 to Eunice M. (Kalb) Schimpf who preceded him in death on May 1, 2015.  He was also preceded in death by daughter Joyce and sister Thelma Allerton.
Paul is survived by children; Mary L. (Jerry) Harrer, Bloomville; Jane S. Schimpf, Bowling Green; Gary P. Schimpf, Bucyrus; James E. (Kay) Schimpf, Plainfield, IL; and Allen F. (Becky) Schimpf, Bloomville; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
Paul farmed his entire  life and was Co-Owner of Schimpf and Young Farm Drainage.  He was a member of College Hill United Church of Christ where he was a former Elder and Deacon.  Paul was a founding member of the Lykens Volunteer Fire Dept.,  former member of the County School Board and was a Lykens Twp. Trustee.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the College Hill United Church of Christ with Rev. Robert Haskins officiating, burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service.  Memorials may be made to the Church through the Funeral Home or % Rev.
