Paul Edwin Matthews Jr.

Biography: Paul Edwin Matthews Jr., 69 of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday August 20, 2020 at Marion General Hospital.  Paul was born November 7, 1950 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin to the late Paul E. Matthews Sr. and Mary J. (Anderson) Matthews. He was married December 11, 2013 to Ruby (Thomas) Matthews who survives.  In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by brother Charles. 

Paul is also survived by daughter Shannon (Mark) Landis of Bucyrus; grandchildren Breanna Shulaw, Matthew Fultz, and Aiden Landis; brother Arthur Matthews of Wisconsin; sister Linda Connors of Georgia; as well as nieces and nephews, and pets "Java", "Lucy", and "Marley" 

Paul was retired from Swan Rubber and prior to Swan had worked at Ohio Crane.   
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at New Day Ministries with Bishop Ted Thomas officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Church on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
