Biography: O. Eunice Armstrong, 86, of Bucyrus passed away on Friday June 20, 2014 at Heartland of Bucyrus, she had been in failing health for the last three years. Eunice was born Aug. 22, 1927 in Charters KY, Lewis County, to the late Ova and Mary (Mefford) Moore. She was married April 4, 1945 to Eric Armstrong who preceded her in death on March 11, 1988. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sons James and Ronald; sisters Doris and Mildred; and brothers Harry and Robert.
Eunice is survived by sons Mike Armstrong and Randy (Sandy) Armstrong both of Bucyrus; daughter in law Karen Armstrong, Bucyrus; grandchildren Neil, Ryan, Michelle, and Chad Armstrong, Shane, Ray, and Jason Conn, Pam Sensabaugh, and Lori Robinson; brothers Donald, Richard, and Keith Moore; and sisters Virginia Gilbert, Carolyn Lowhorn, and Linda Scott.
Eunice attended Lewis Co. Schools and moved to Bucyrus in 1946. She worked at General Electric for 20 years and was a homemaker. Eunice loved the Cleveland Indians and knew the rosters as well as the individual batting averages. She also enjoyed her grandchildren.
Private Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brokensword Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the Cr. Co. Humane Society and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
