Biography: Norma Jean Edgington, age 85, this precious angel was called to her home with the Lord to join her husband Robert Edgington. Norma was born to the late John and Dorothy "Lahman" Bucher December 19, 1933 in Crawford County. Norma is preceded in death by parents and husband Robert Edgington on October 1, 2008.
Norma is survived by daughter, Patricia Edgington (Charles Brown); son, Kenneth (Rita) Edgington; grandchildren, Kristopher R. Edgington and Matthew K. (Angie) Edgington; half sister, Mary Ann (David) Schilling; great-grandchildren, Christopher T. Edgington, Emily M. Edgington, Alisha Edgington, and Austin Edgington; great great-grandchildren, Rilann Davis, Kenzley Edgington, Kennadie Harris, and 1 great great-granddaughter on the way; furry companions, Eddie her dog and Frosty her cat.
Norma was a delight to be around, she enjoyed spending time with her family above all and would always light up the room. She also enjoyed traveling, some of her favorite destinations include the Smoky Mountains, New Orleans, Nova Scotia, and Key West. Whether it was with family or traveling companions Bill and Deloris Sharrock, Norma enjoyed a good trip. Norma also tended to flowers in her garden when she could. She is a former member of the Eastern Star. Norma worked at Days Inn of Bucyrus as the Head Housekeeper for a number of years. She is also a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Visiting hours are 12-2:00 and 4-6:00 Friday August 10 at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the calling hours Friday evening at 6PM with Father Paul Fahrbach officiating. Burial is at Nevada Cemetery Saturday August 11 at 12PM. Memorials may be made to Crawford County Humane Society. Moments of remembrance may be left online at munzpirnstill.com
