Norma J. Brown

Biography: Norma J. Brown, 78, a longtime Chatfield resident and for the past 2 years a resident of Heartland, passed away on Sunday March 16, 2014 at Bucyrus Community Hospital, her death was unexpected.  Norma was born July 29, 1935 in New Washington, OH to the late Ervin F. and Ethel E. (Rothhaar) Brown, she was never married. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Beatrice Studer Kalb; brothers Donald E. Brown and Harold Brown, as well as one niece and one nephew.
Norma is survived by nephews and nieces, Kenneth (Doris) Studer, Chatfield; Ann (Victor) Roth, Attica; Eugene Studer, Chatfield; Boyd (Kathy) Studer, Attica; Kevin (Gloria) Studer, Sycamore; Terry (Donald) Aker, Prairieville, OH; Edward Brown of Columbus; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
Norma lived most of her life in Chatfield and was a 1953 graduate of Chatfield High School.  She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Washington.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Tom Pairan officiating, burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery, New Washington.  The family will receive friends at the church on hour prior to the service.  Memorials may be given to the church in Norma’s memory and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
