Nelson Clarence Skidmore

Biography:  Nelson Clarence Skidmore, 77,  of Nevada passed away on Monday Dec. 1, 2014 at Fairhaven Home in Upper Sandusky.  Nelson was born April 5, 1937 to the late Green and Verda (Middleton) Skidmore.  He was married Dec. 7, 1957 to Wanda (Fields) Skidmore who preceded him in death on March 13, 2012.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Oliver and Billie as well as sister Betty Pargeon.
Nelson is survived by children Clarence (Mary) Skidmore of Cawood KY; Tim (Tammy) Skidmore of Upper Sandusky; Patricia Burd of Cawood; and Sandra (Mike) Wilcox of Cawood; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother Paul Skidmore of Bucyrus; sisters Jean Wright, Vina Quinlan, and Mary Chatman all of Bucyrus and Jerlynn Sharpe of VA.
Nelson lived most of his life in Bucyrus and was a roofing contractor.
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-7 pm with Funeral Services scheduled for 7:00 pm. Graveside Services will be held on Friday at 3:00 pm at Fields Cemetery in Cawood KY.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
