Biography: Nancy Carol Wilson, 66 years of age, of 206 W. Galen St., Bucyrus passed away at 1:25 am Friday August 9, 2014. She had been in failing health for the past 5 years. Nancy was born Feb. 12, 1948 in Bloomville to the late Arthur Sours and Deliliah (Lawrence) Sours.
Nancy is survived by husband Alfred Wilson; children William Wilson of Bucyrus; Richard Wilson of Galion; Tina Wilson, N. Robinson; James C. Wilson of Bucyrus; Samantha Wilson of Bucyrus; and Arthur Wilson of Upper Sandusky; 17 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous siblings.
Nancy was a homemaker and lived both in the Bucyrus and Tiffin areas. Granddaughter Shelby writes, ”Although when someone goes you never feel like it's the right time, she was able to see her kids grow up, grand kids grow up, even some great grand kids start out their lives, and honestly she couldn't have asked for more. Her passion was with her family, making sure everyone had a place to live; even to some that weren't family (though sometimes the rest of the family thought it wasn't a good idea). My grandmother rarely turned anyone away, which sometimes was seen as her "being way too nice at times." She loved to help people, and share whatever she had to help keep everyone comfortable. Grandma, we will miss you very much. You will always hold a place in our heart, and everyone else you have touched hearts. Don't worry, grandma. We'll take care of everything down here, just enjoy spending time will all the roots and branches of our family tree up there."
The family will receive friends at Aumiller Park on Saturday August 23rd from 3-6 pm for a Memorial Service. Contributions may be made through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home.
