Biography: May Janette Orewiler, 83 of Bucyrus Mobile Home Village passed away on Monday evening January 4, 2016 at home from an extended illness. May Janette was born May 29, 1932 in Bucyrus to the late Charles and Violet (Nicholson) Teetrick. She married the late Marvin Clark Orewiler Sept. 16, 1950 and he passed away on July 8, 2011. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Mattix.
May Janette is survived by daughter Cathy (Jack) Whitmore of Florida and their children Michele, Wendy, William, and Matthew; son Ron (Tam) Orewiler and their children Jaime, Jennifer, and Joseph of Bucyrus; daughter Tami Orewiler of Bucyrus and children Jessica and Michael; two brothers John Henry (Susie) Teetrick and Richard ”Dickie” Teetrick both of Florida; 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild to be born in April. She is also survived by 2 sister-in-laws Alice Whaley of Bucyrus and Wilda Orewiler, Iowa plus numerous nieces and nephews.
May Janette was a homemaker and great in-house caregiver of her mother, grandmother, and late husband Marvin for over 60 years, she was one of a kind. May Janette enjoyed crafting, camping, bowling, NASCAR (#24), and attending family and church gatherings.
May Janette was a member of the Salvation Army and the Women’s Home League for several years.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
