Matthew Shannon Palmer

Biography: Matthew Shannon Palmer, 31 of Bucyrus passed away September 9, 2020 in Mansfield.  Matthew was born May 30, 1989 in Marion to Timothy Palmer of Paintsville, KY and Shannon DeHaven of Bucyrus.  In addition to his parents he is survived by son Isaiah Meadows; sister Samantha (Tyler Stevens) Palmer of Bucyrus; niece Avery and nephew Malachi; maternal grandfathers Dan DeHaven and Dan Spracklen; aunts and uncles Allison (David) Allman, Aaron (Katina) DeHaven, Megan DeHaven, Sara (Mark) Tuttle, and Brian Palmer; cousins Brian Palmer II and Tiffany Palmer; and best friend Chris Parsons.  He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Karen Spracklen. 
Matthew last worked for Halls Auto in Mansfield. He loved nature and taking walks in the woods and on the trails. Matthew enjoyed spending time with his son and being with his dog "Capone." 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday September 22, 2020 in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home at 7:00 pm.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions can be made through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
