Mary Lou Welch

Mary Lou Welch, 79 of Bucyrus passed away on Monday October 7, 2024 at Legacy of Bucyrus. Mary was born February 15, 1945 in Bucyrus to the late Harry and Mary (Wynn) Shaw. She was married April 20, 1973 to Ramond Welch who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter Shelby, sister Betty May Shaw, and half sisters and brother Margaret Primmer, Barbara Peck, Bob Jones, and niece Sherrie Albright,

Mary Lou is also survived by daughter Jamie Schlagenhauser of Bucyrus; grandsons Cameron, Owen, and Jace; brothers William (Betty) Shaw, Ronald (Connie) Shaw, and Daniel Shaw, nephew Chris Shaw, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

Mary Lou graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1964 and retired after working at Geoga Plastics for over 30 years. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, collecting dolphins, and being with family.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Darling officiating and burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
