Biography: Mervel Ramsey, 84 of Bucyrus passed away on January 5, 2016 at 8:55 pm in Altercare of Bucyrus. Mervel was born Aug. 8, 1932 in Portsmouth OH to the late Laffieott and Hetta Alta (Cook) Rawlins. She was also preceded in death by husband Ralph Ramsey, son Timothy Ramsey, brothers James Rawlins and Howard Rawlins, sisters Hilda Stewart, and Alma Stewart. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mervel was a homemaker and has lived in Bucyrus for the past 10 years. She enjoyed doing crafts as a hobby.
At Mervel’s request there will be no formal services. Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
